Noticias del Mundo era la versión española del diario Weekly World News. Básicamente se trataba de las mismas historias que aparecieron en la edición americana, pero pasadas por un filtro cañí que a mi parecer les daba un especial gracejo.
Así pudimos leer la historia de Mauricio, el niño vampiro, la del hombre que tenía un hacha clavada en la cabeza pero hacía una vida normal, asistimos a la milagrosa aparición de la faz de Chiquito de la Calzada en un jamón, nos enteramos de que el hijo secreto de Elvis vivía en Murcia, Rockeros Zombies, empleados que disecan a su difunto jefe, misioneros que devoran a unos caníbales… Una lista interminable de freaks, situaciones absurdas y noticias demenciales que nos hicieron pasar grandes momentos.
En el número 41, una nota en el periódico alertaba que tras unos extraños sucesos , la redacción al completo se trasladaba al Triángulo de las Bermudas a investigar. Nunca se supo más del periódico.
